INFRONT VISUAL RESPONSE SHOW – MELBOURNE
/// Last weekend, Australian Infront held it’s 2011 Visual Response show at Melbourne’s Lamington Drive. I was really stoked to have my artwork selected and headed down to Melbourne for the show. Highlights included Alex Trochut’s More is More show, record shopping at Polyester Records, Ty Segall gig at The Tote and good-times-all-the-time hangouts with We Buy Your Kids, Toby & Pete, Jeremy Wortsman, Pat Fox, & Tommy “man of a thousand gags” Dassalo. A really big thanks to Damian Aistrope, Lorena Mercado, Zann St Pierre and Justin Fox from Infront for their hospitality and a great event.

OMG, ALL-NEW “NEW PAGE”
/// So what’s new? Oh, nuthin’ just added a NEW! section to the site to show fresh work as it appears. There’s some new work in there for SDOC, Ghostwood, Noun Collective and more. In other news I’m currently working on a solo show based on the theme of fantasy supergroups. Watch this space for previews and full site coming soon.

NEW WORK
/// I posted some new board graphics for Omatic Snowboards a few days ago. It’s always a good time working on these and I was stoked to see Omatic’s own Eric Willett win the US Open Slopestyle riding the Boron on the weekend. The very talented/awesome Heath Killen from Theoryhaus was also kind enough to do a story on the story behind the EXTR-NRG graphic. Read it here.

SOFT MOON
/// Loving the guts out of The Soft Moon’s self produced album and artwork in equal measures right now. Will probably need to listen to this (just once) later next week to offset the darkness.

INTERNET HATE MACHINE
/// Have been working on a few art prints lately. Mostly inspired by Orwell and this kind of thing. Good times. Hit me if you’d like a screenprint of one of these.

WESTBEACH TRADE SHOW BOOTH
/// Just got some shots of the booth I designed for Westbeach at ISPO Munich 2011 snow-sports show. Big thanks to Peter Naumann, the Bauers and Fred “Beardyman” Royle for getting all DIY to pull it together.

JUST ANOTHER LIST
/// Don’t get me wrong. I love a list as much as the next guy. Oh man have I lost some hours of my life to trawling the internets for end of year lists by people who write about music better than I breathe oxygen. With the standard html text + album cover image list growing tired (for me at least), I got busy this week on a more physical and personal interpretation of my favourite records of the year in the form of a one-off poster. Full of fence sitting conviction minus the use of the word ‘seminal’ (thanks Everett True), it was pretty fun to end 2010 with a tactile reminder of another amazing year in music.
Faces set to party. See you in 2011.

ERIC YES
/// Last week I painted a wall at Eric Yes studios. It was a super fun little project. Anyone seeking hand painted, expletive laden typography, page me. Video coming early Jan.

WESTBEACH WINTER 2012 LOOKBOOK
/// Recently completed a lookbook and collection of product guides for Westbeach’s 2012 outerwear collection. More pics coming soon.

RIDE PREVIEW
/// Here’s sneaky preview of some new work for Ride Snowboards. I’ve wanted to work on a Ride graphic for years so I was super stoked when I got the call up. Full release and details soon.
